A Little About Me...

I'm a young artist aspiring for new creations.

^{Making art is as secondary to me as breathing. It comes naturally, and even if I try to stop I feel obligated to create more. Looking at art and creating it makes me feel invigorated. I like to create different concepts and am constantly changing and growing. I hope to eventually achieve a cohesive yet evolving body of work. I feel that the art I make today isn’t the same as the art I will make tomorrow, which is I why I call my art transient. I make art to strike emotion, not to please.

I currently reside in Las Vegas, Nevada in the USA. I enjoy playing the piano, reading, cooking, watching films, spending time with my family, and of course making all kinds of art. I am married to my best friend, Jonathan, we have 2 young boys, Jude and Jacob. I operate on an iMac with OS X 10.6.8 and sometimes my HP Artist's Edition laptop. I adore crows, ravens, and rabbits. I also love conceptual, dark, and surreal art the most.}

My birthday was really, really nice!

I'm really excited to have gotten some new art supplies too. Though, I plan on getting another pencil case too since Prisma Color just released 18 new colored pencil colors. The brushes were hidden in different spots by my husband. He gave me clues to find them. I can't wait to use them since they're the Isacryl brushes that I love.

I've had a pretty good week, been super happy. I got some movie tickets for $5.50 so Jonathan and I went and saw Breaking Dawn during the midnight premiere. (It's honestly the best time actually since the kids are sleeping while being babysat lol) The movie wasn't bad, I liked it actually. I'm still reading Emma by Jane Austen too, haven't gotten as far as I'd like to since I've been busy. I did finish a drawing today though, video and images of it to come soon.

I think I'll end the night by finishing up some other small projects and a movie.
